Choosing the music for your wedding is a fun task. But picking your favorite sons is the either party. What's a bit more difficult is deciding on a live band or a DJ. Some things to consider are if your venue will have the appropriate amount of space for a full live band and if the band will be able to cover all the songs you want played. Also consider which will fit best in your budget.
Choosing between a DJ or live band, although largely determined by budget, is also an issue of taste. You should meet with either before booking - you don't want to end up with a DJ that has a very bland personality or is perhaps a little too rowdy for the event you're trying to throw. Discuss your music preferences with both during your meetings so you can get a feel over who can best provide what you're looking for!
